This project is a reconversion of a military domain into a school complex. To meet the specific demands of the school as regards space orientation, possibilities, comfort and ecological construction, only basic techniques are used.
As regards the HVAC : One condensation and one high efficiency boiler are used as primary generators. At the second hand, several weather and demand dependent heating distribution circuits are used. The ventilation is CO² driven, meaning that the ventilation is only used when the room is being used. Furthermore, energy efficient lamps are used, and the lighting fittings have zone switches to adjust the intensity as needed. The lighting fittings close to the windows have daylight sensors, in order to dim the light automatically when the sunlight comes in. The showers have water saving shower roses and the toilets have flushing system of 3 or 6 litres, to save as much water as possible. The result is a K35and a E65 level conform the EPB norms.
